Welcome to the Belmont County Clerk of Courts

As the Clerk of Courts for the General Division of the Common Pleas Court, I began serving the citizens of Belmont County in this role in September of 2023. My commitment to the public is to serve the community with dedication and professionalism.

The Legal Division maintains all records filed in the General Division of the Belmont County Common Pleas Court, which includes Civil, Criminal, Domestic Relations, as well as the Seventh District Court of Appeals.

The Title Division is responsible for issuing Certificates of Title for motor vehicles, including automobiles, motorcycles, mobile homes, travel trailers, motor homes, boats, and boat motors, all-terrain vehicles (ATV), off-highway motorcycles and jet skis. We also issue duplicates for lost and stolen titles.

Title Division Division

The Title Division issues and maintains certificates of title for motor vehicles, watercraft, and certain other titled property in Belmont County. The office assists with title transfers, duplicate titles, out-of-state titles, court-ordered titles, and other common title transactions.
